It has worked on a few bosses, but until there are adds that cast really bad spells, it’ll be pretty useless in raids. I do really mean to use it more often in PvP, but it takes a lot of practice to get into the habit of hitting new abilities in PvP.

I haven’t really PvEed at all in Cataclsym so far (my raiding toon is still languishing at 80, while I gear up my DK for Season 9), so I can’t comment on it’s uselfulness in raiding except as a niche spell.

HOWEVER, it is excellent in PvP. A friend of mine ran and tested this on a target dummy and it seems to stack almost infinitely (she got it up to 200k healing absorb), so especially when you’ve got a couple DKs in the group, Necrotic Strike can put just enough pressure on a healer to make her go down that much faster. At least as things stand now in PvP, as long as blood plague is up, you should definitely be subbing in NS for PS.
